Absolutely loved the chicken burger here. My cousin who is local to this place recommended me this place. I was astonished by the ambience. It was pretty cool with 60’s stuff. I really felt like I time travelled back lol🤣 I would definitely recommend this place for a nice burger, fries and hot dogs. I personally prefer chicken so I had breaded chicken sandwich With cheese fries which was delicious. Visiting from the west coast and everyone says we need to visit a Portillo’s. They did not disappoint. Simple menu, easy pickup, and plenty of seating options. Decently priced and very delicious food and portions. I can see why people come here. I want to go back and try the hot dogs!
Went to funeral and stopped here. The dirty dog as I call it was absolutely FANTASTICLY DELICIOUS……mustard pickles grilled onions and peppers. What!! OMG. Never tasted something soooo good
We don't have Portillo's in San Antonio TX, so when I planned my trip to Illinois I included a visit here. The Italian beef sandwich and onion rings were excellent!
We always enjoy their beef sandwiches and burgers. Their chocolate cake is second to none. I definitely highly recommend this establishment.
Cool diner. Loved the theme. Good options on the menu. I had the bowel, and a small fry. You place your order at the counter and pick up at the counter when they call you. Food was made quickly. We dined inside and there is plenty seating available. I enjoyed it.
There chopped salad is always amazing and the best chocolate cake ever. I'm one of the few people that isn't impressed with their hotdogs, but I am a Chicago old neighborhood girl. Those corner hot dog stands are hard to beat.
This is the third different location for Portillo’s in Bolingbrook in the last 50 years, all at the same intersection of Route 53 in Belton Road. This is certainly the largest and fanciest location, and it’s like a beautiful factory. Everything is still run very efficiently, almost as if Dick was still controlling the line. A big plus is the fact that they’ve added soda fountains. The food was expensive, but what isn’t these days? We enjoyed our meal here thoroughly. I’ve been eating at Portillo’s for half a century, and this is still my favorite location to go.
The burger here is absolutely amazing, bursting with flavor in every bite. It is much more satisfying than typical fast-food options. It is a little messy to handle, but that only adds to the experience. The crinkle cut fries are perfectly seasoned, crisp, and make a great companion to the burger.
I used the Portillo's App* to order ahead and scheduled a pickup time. Pickup orders require you to walk-in the store. Don't use the drive-thru for orders placed on the App; Use the walk-in doors near the exit of the drive-thru. My order was ready and accurate (I checked the bags before I left). The food was delicious: Italian beef, chicken sandwich, fries, strawberry shortcake (perfect size for 3 people at a small birthday celebration). *the App works great.
